Do I need to wear a pad or tampon with them?

Our undies are designed to be worn on their own, but they make great backup protection for a tampon or menstrual cup too.

How do you wash Aisle BASE period underwear?

Rinse the gusset in cool water before washing in the machine with your regular laundry. Hang to dry where possible - it saves energy and prolongs the life of your undies! Just make sure they’re fully dry before storing or reusing.

Are BASE underwear compatible with Aisle Boosters?

We kept it super simple and streamlined with BASE undies, so you can just put 'em on and go. There are no pockets in the gusset of BASE undies so there's no need to use Aisle Boosters.

Perfect end of period pair- let’s me feel like a normal person!

I wear these on the last day(s) of my period, when I’m tired of jamming discs/cups up there or tired of seeing my more bulky boost boxer briefs, and ready to get back to feeling normal. Or I’ve also used them as backup to cup/disc on days when I’ve got something too important going on to be able to pause for an adjustment. These are extremely comfy and not too bulky and make me feel like I’m free of my period, even when I’m not lol.

Nowhere near the absorbency advertised

I have to say I was incredibly disappointed in these. They are super cute and comfortable, but advertise as being able to hold 4 tampons worth of blood. I have a light period, especially on my first day, maybe 1-2 tampons worth. Within a few hours of wearing these, it had gone right through and spilled over the sides. It wasn’t even a large quantity and again a pretty light flow, just that the material really isn’t absorbent at all. Was expecting more from these.

Came to aisle after realizing they're the only company I can find without PFAS in their garments! Really like this model.

Really like but a bit snug

I love them and think they work great as a backup to my menstrual cup or when I am free bleeding. I usually wear a medium in leggings and other brands of underwear and have never sized up before but felt these were a bit snug and would’ve def sized up

Try other fits if you have a booty

I’m wearing this pair right now. I don’t reach for these pairs the way I hoped I would. I love the smooth gusset, I just wish they would have adapted the existing styles with the BASE gusset. I have to agree with some of the other reviews, these aren’t super stretchy. They definitely fit on the snug side. If you don’t like a cheekier fit, and you have any amount of booty, I suggest not purchasing the BASE line. Both pairs get absolutely swallowed by my ass if I move the wrong way. I need to size up for my next purchase, but

It will only give me hip room for these, not more cheek coverage.
