How do your period undies work?

Aisle undies feature a specially engineered lining that combines super-absorbent Truetex™ technology with a leak-proof lining to keep you dry and feelin’ fly.

How much fluid do they hold?

8X as much as a standard disposable! Our undies absorb 4 tampons worth of fluid on their own, or 8 tampons worth when you wear with the included booster.

Do I need to wear a pad or tampon with them?

Nope! Our undies were built to completely replace pads and tampons. They make great backup protection with tampons or menstrual cups, too.

What does the booster do?

Our undies absorb 4 tampons worth of fluid on their own, but if you need a little extra you can add the optional booster for an extra 4 tampons worth. Just tuck the ends into the slits at either end of the gusset.

How do I wash my Aisle undies?

It’s not that complicated - our undies were made to fit into your regular laundry routine. Just rinse out in cool water, then wash and dry with your regular laundry. As with any garment, wash with like colors.

Comfy

I'm a big fan of the whole boost line. Compared to other period undies from other brands, I like the fabric of these way better. Feels more like cotton and less synthetic. My only complaint is that the seams of the leg holes can occasionally irritate my skin.

Sized up and happy

I typically wear a women’s large or unisex/men’s medium but I decided to try sizing up to XL and they’re so much more comfortable around my legs. My regular sizes were pretty tight.

As far as period underwear goes I love aisle. I’ve never leaked, the fabric is very nice.

Not quite as leak proof as I'd hoped

I wouldn't say my flow is super heavy- I change my menstrual cup once a day even on days 1 & 2- but I still found myself leaking through the underwear, just a bit, mostly at the sides. The booster pad helped but I am not sure I'll be able to get through a full work day without changing them. I will have to see if maybe I will just swap out a booster on days where I am at work and can't change undies.

With that said... they are still pretty awesome. I love the colour, the fit is nice, and they're so soft and cozy. I plan to buy more and build up my arsenal. Will recommend with the caveat!
