FAQ

How do your period undies work?

Aisle undies feature a specially engineered lining that combines super-absorbent Truetex™ technology with a leak-proof lining to keep you dry and feelin’ fly.

How much fluid do they hold?

4X as much as a standard disposable! Our undies absorb 2 tampons worth of fluid on their own, or 4 tampons worth when you wear with the included booster.

FAQ Image

Do I need to wear a pad or tampon with them?

Nope! Our undies were built to completely replace pads and tampons. They make great backup protection with tampons or menstrual cups, too.

What does the booster do?

Our undies absorb 2 tampons worth of fluid on their own, but if you need a little extra you can add the optional booster for an extra 2 tampons worth. Just tuck the ends into the slits at either end of the gusset.

How do I wash my Aisle undies?

It’s not that complicated - our undies were made to fit into your regular laundry routine. Just rinse out in cool water, then wash and dry with your regular laundry. As with any garment, wash with like colors.

Comfiest pair I own

I have a pair of hipster, bikini, and boxer brief and the hipster are by farrrr my favorite. So comfy, I even want to wear them when I'm not on my period!

Great—notes for sizing and people with sensitive skin

I really do love these underwear. I was a bit nervous about sizing based on another review about them being tight around the thighs and I have bigger thighs than my hip size would suggest.... so I ordered up from the xs (which would have been the right size according to the measurements) to a small (which is normally my size). They fit fine, but I would have been better off with the xs (I did order another pair in xs to try and those fit perfectly).

I will note that I switched to these because cups were giving me craps and regular pads give me a rash (which is clearly TMI but it may be relevant for someone else with super sensitive skin). Now, I was OK in them but they’re not 100% cotton ... the lining is made mostly with recycled polyester which I didn’t think about when I was ordering them... I will note that I experienced some irritation in them due to that (no rash but I felt like maybe it would happen). I’ve found though that if I switch them out for a pad in my regular underwear for part of the day then I’m totally fine.

I really like these for sleeping though because they don’t shift at all so I’m not worried about leaking. FYI, if you wash by hand at the beginning you may see a lot of dye coming out during the wash cycle (green ones)...this freaked me out and I bugged them about it but it turns out that it absolutely did not leech into other fabrics as my white sheets can attest (yes I fully tested these bad boys out).
